Our history
RECYTHERM, a specialist in industrial plastic waste recycling, is a subsidiary of the French Group CTCI, a circular integrator in the plastics industry.
The CTCI Group, established in 1974, operates two plastic thermoforming plants in France (CTCI Production in Singrits-67 and EPH in Saint-Aubin-Sur-Gaillon-27) and produces custom technical trays for European assemblers in the automotive, cosmetics, electronics, parapharmacy, food, and packaging markets.
In 2015, the Group decided to control plastic material quality and availability by jointly acquiring ALGOPLAST, a plastic extrusion plant (based in Mayenne), and RECYTHERM, a recycled plastic raw materials preparation plant (based in Yonne) that historically supplies the extrusion plant.
Even before the first European recommendations, the CTCI Group was already manufacturing 100% from recycled materials! Naturally, with the arrival of public programs encouraging plastic waste recycling development, the CTCI Group was among the first French plastics processors to invest and be supported in modernizing and developing its extrusion and recycling capacities on French soil.
Far from the model of large historical waste collectors, RECYTHERM focuses on pre-sorted industrial waste streams, mainly from companies that can be grouped and prepared to become everyday plastic products again.

Our Activity
RECYTHERM approaches recycling from the perspective of a plastics processor who experiences the challenges of raw material quality daily in its extrusion and thermoforming activities.
Recytherm’s teams are, therefore, experts trained to produce recycled raw materials that can be directly extruded. They are also capable of supporting their clients in implementing the materials they produce.
Classified Installation for Environmental Protection
Recytherm also serves companies as a provider of plastic waste collection and treatment services as defined by the Environmental Code and has the prefectural approval and technical and human resources to do so.
Recytherm is also authorized to provide the regulatory documentation in force.
Quality to Promote the Use of Recycled Plastic Raw Materials!
Communications and incentives for using recycled materials are legion. It is much less common to read about the difficulties of implementing recycled materials. Many industrialists hesitate to “switch to recycled” because it requires a change in equipment and production line management methods. We believe that excellence in the quality of recycled raw materials produced is the most solid building block we can contribute.
